History

“A journey into wellness”

Swisse is an Australian-made supplement brand founded for more than 50 years ago by an entrepreneur named Kevin Ring. This Australian pioneer decided to embark on a journey in search of the most nutrient-rich ingredients to offer products that help us live better every day. To promote its quality products, Swisse launched ​​a competition in line with its origins which involved all the pharmacies on the Italian territory.

The target

Show the product range with a contest

Promoting the range of “multivitamin” products through the launch of a competition involving all the pharmacies in the national territory. The strategy aimed to hit all the funnel steps, from awareness to conversion, with the aim of improving the product awareness and the walk-in in the stores.

The solution

Tailored audience targeting + proximity formats mix

To support the communication of the brand and the product, it was made an accurate audience targeting analysis on specific categories using synergically different marketing and proximity marketing tools: mobile display adv, dem, newsletter and JoinTag Push Notifications near store, or sent when the user is near a store, and in store, or sent inside the store. Thanks to the proprietary Find and Go Now technology, user automatically could see the path to the nearest pharmacy, and could also consult the complete list of those participating and all the details to participate in the contest. In the end, with the help of CheckBonus, it was possible to analyse sales and consumers’ purchasing behavior.

The analysis of the footfall allowed to have more information on users and their responsiveness to the communication received, while the full-blown check provided by CheckBonus provided important data on purchases, on the products in question and on consumer consumption behavior.

The success

Good results in terms of visit uplift

The campaign led to a 77% visit uplift to pharmacies, good communication visibility and sales uplift during the campaign period thanks to the various engagement activities activated.
